PERSONAL

I was born in Vienna in 1980, am married, and a mother of three children. The experiences from my own family life shape my approach to medicine and help me to support the concerns, challenges, and worries of children, parents, and families with a profound understanding and high practical relevance. Since 2017, I have been part of the team at Ärztezentrum malacht. Here, I combine my many years of clinical experience with modern outpatient care – always with the aim of providing my patients with medical care at a university level.

TRAINING

My medical practice is based on comprehensive university education and specialization at renowned Viennese institutions.

• Studies in Human Medicine at the Medical University of Vienna
• Scientific work in the internationally recognized study group for Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH) at the St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute (CCRI)
• Specialist training in Pediatrics at St. Anna Children’s Hospital
• Specialized training in pediatric cardiology and pediatric rheumatology at the General Hospital (AKH) Vienna and St. Anna Children’s Hospital

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Through my many years of clinical work in a leading position, I combine profound experience with diagnostics and therapy according to current medical guidelines.

Clinical work at St. Anna Children’s Hospital

From 2006 to 2023, I worked continuously at St. Anna Children’s Hospital. There, I worked in internal medicine and pediatric oncology departments, as well as in outpatient care. Due to my professional expertise, I was appointed senior physician in 2018.

Management of specialized outpatient clinics

My clinical focus since 2017 has been on pediatric cardiology and pediatric rheumatology. From 2022 to 2023, I managed the cardiology and rheumatology outpatient clinics at St. Anna Children’s Hospital. In this role, I cared for children and adolescents with complex cardiovascular diseases, as well as inflammatory-rheumatic and autoimmune diseases.

Outpatient care

Since 2017, in addition to my hospital work, I have also been supporting patients at Ärztezentrum malacht. With the transition from hospital work at the end of 2023, my full focus is on outpatient care – with the goal of making specialized pediatric and adolescent medicine accessible at the highest professional level, personally, long-term, and family-oriented.
