Senior Consultant Dr. Markus Riedl has particular expertise in treating conditions and injuries of the shoulder and knee joints. His focus is on highly specialised open and arthroscopic surgical procedures as well as modern treatment concepts in shoulder and knee surgery.

In the field of shoulder surgery, Senior Consultant Dr. Riedl covers the full spectrum of complex shoulder conditions and injuries, including rotator cuff tendon tears, biceps tendon injuries, shoulder instabilities and dislocations, as well as degenerative conditions and wear-related changes.

Another focus is knee surgery, with particular specialisation in meniscus surgery, cruciate ligament surgery and modern cartilage surgery procedures.

In addition, Senior Consultant Dr. Riedl specialises in joint replacement (endoprosthetics) of the shoulder, hip and knee. In cases of advanced joint wear, the focus is on restoring mobility, function and quality of life.
