Privacy Policy
in accordance with GDPR
The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2021). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website.
CONTACT WITH US
If you contact us via the form on the website or by email, your provided data will be stored with us for six months for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent. Should treatment at our practice result from this contact, we are legally obligated to retain your data for a period of 10 years (retention obligation pursuant to § 51 para. 3 Medical Practitioners Act).
COOKIES
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of your browser. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
If you do not wish this, you can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and only allow this on a case-by-case basis. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be limited.
WEB ANALYSIS
Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable an analysis of the use of the website by its visitors. The information generated in this way is transferred to Google's server and stored there.
You can prevent this by configuring your browser so that no cookies are stored. Your IP address is recorded but immediately pseudonymized. This only allows for rough localization.
The relationship with Google Analytics is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of § 165 para. 3 TKG 2021 as well as Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.
Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our web presence. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymized. User data is retained for a period of 26 months.
NEWSLETTER
You have the option to consent to the use of your email address to receive our newsletter during your visit to our practice. For this purpose, we ask for your email address and written consent that you agree to receive the newsletter. In order to make the newsletter more personal, we also collect and process voluntarily provided information such as first and last name. We expressly point out that contacting us via our form on the website does NOT result in registration for our newsletter!
We use MailChimp to send the newsletter and to manage subscriber data. Your data is stored on MailChimp's servers and is legally secured by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
You can cancel your newsletter subscription at any time. You will find a link to unsubscribe at the end of each newsletter. We will then immediately delete your data in connection with the newsletter dispatch.
YOUR RIGHTS
You generally have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation, and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you can file a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
