PERSONAL

I was born in Fulda (Germany) in 1984, am married and the mother of a daughter. After beginning my professional training in Switzerland, I have been based in Vienna for over a decade.
The malacht medical center complements this with its pediatric dentistry services and the “first dental visit” in a relaxed atmosphere.

TRAINING

My academic and clinical qualifications are based on two degree programs as well as structured specialist curricula in Austria and abroad:

• Human medicine: Studied human medicine at Philipps University of Marburg.
• Dentistry: Studied dentistry at the Medical University of Vienna.
• Specialist training in Switzerland and Austria: Obtained the Austrian specialist diploma in oral, maxillofacial and facial surgery.
• Specialization in pediatric dentistry: Completed the postgraduate specialist curricula in pediatric dentistry with both the Austrian Society of Pediatric Dentistry (ÖGKiZ) and the German Society of Pediatric Dentistry (DGKiZ).

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

My clinical career includes several years of academic and practical work at university clinics as well as in private practice:

University Dental Clinic Vienna
Since 2018, I have been working as a dentist in the pediatric dentistry department at the University Dental Clinic Vienna. This role includes outpatient and clinical treatment of complex dental issues in children, caring for patients with dental anxiety, and applying modern, age-appropriate treatment methods based on the latest research.

Outpatient care
In addition to my university position, I have extensive experience through regular locum work in private dental practices.
At the malacht medical center, my focus is on the first dental visit from the first tooth in infancy and early childhood, in a relaxed, anxiety-free atmosphere. Alongside initial diagnostics, my focus is on identifying and treating orofacial dysfunctions, as well as providing comprehensive advice to accompanying persons on tooth-friendly nutrition and daily oral hygiene.
