TRAINING

Medical studies at the Medical Faculty of the University of Vienna. University Assistant at the Institute of Anatomy, University of Vienna. Training as a general practitioner in Lower Austria. Specialist training in surgery at Lilienfeld Hospital (Department of Surgery and Trauma Surgery) as well as at the University Clinic for Surgery (AKH Vienna) and the Lorenz Böhler Trauma Hospital. Specialist training in pediatric and adolescent surgery at the University Clinic for Surgery at AKH Vienna.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Until 2001, senior physician in charge of a ward at the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Surgery at AKH Vienna. Since 2001, senior physician at the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Surgery at Donauspital Vienna – with a personal focus on pediatric surgical gastroenterology and pediatric traumatology.
