PERSONAL

I was born in Vienna in 1978, which is still where my life is centred today. As a mother of three children, I am shaped by both my professional and personal experiences. The combination of solid clinical work at Vienna’s major hospitals and an understanding of the challenges of everyday family life forms the basis of my daily work. At the heart of my practice are structured, evidence-based diagnostics and the care of my patients in an atmosphere of trust and appreciation.

TRAINING

My medical career is based on comprehensive academic and practical training at renowned institutions in Vienna and Upper Austria:

  • Human medicine: Studied human medicine at the Medical University of Vienna.
  • General medicine: Internship and full training as a general practitioner at Klinik Landstraße (formerly Rudolfstiftung Hospital) in Vienna.
  • Specialist training: Specialisation as a consultant surgeon, completed at the Evangelical Hospital Vienna, Klinik Hietzing and the Hospital of the Brothers of Mercy in Linz.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Clinical practice includes many years of work in inpatient, outpatient and surgical settings:

Specialist practice: As a consultant, I have extensive experience across the full operative spectrum of general surgery as well as in pre- and postoperative patient care. My work in private practice at malacht ensures that patients receive outpatient care in line with the latest clinical science.

SERVICES

The practice’s services are divided into the two core areas of general medicine and surgery, enabling comprehensive diagnostic assessment.

General medical services

  • Vaccinations: Review of vaccination status, individual vaccination advice and administration of immunisations in accordance with the current Austrian vaccination schedule.
  • Acute consultations: Primary care for acute complaints, infectious diseases and sudden changes in health.

Surgical services and diagnostics

This includes preoperative counselling, performing surgical procedures, assessing and obtaining an independent surgical second opinion, and postoperative care with wound checks and suture removal.
  • Special areas of focus: Venous disorders, thyroid disorders and proctology.
  • Vascular diagnostics (venous ultrasound): Duplex ultrasound of the veins for precise examination, functional assessment and follow-up monitoring in chronic venous disease, varicose veins and spider veins.
