PERSONAL

I was born and raised in Vienna. I combine my deep roots in the region with my professional calling. I am married and the mother of a son and a daughter. The experiences I have gained as a mother enrich my understanding of the concerns of families, pregnant women, and women in various stages of life. Building a long-term, trusting patient-doctor relationship is at the heart of my daily work and forms the basis for individual and holistic care.

TRAINING

My medical career is based on a broad and continuous academic and practical education.

• Human Medicine: Degree from the Medical University of Vienna.
• General Medicine: Residency and training as a general practitioner in Lower Austria.
• Specialist Training: Specialization as a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, completed at teaching hospitals in Lower Austria and in Vienna at the Klinik Ottakring (formerly Wilhelminenspital).

Additional Qualifications and Diplomas:

• Valid emergency physician diploma from the Austrian Medical Chamber.
• Austrian Medical Chamber (ÖÄK) diploma for the continuing education program (DFP diploma) for ongoing quality assurance.
• Medical diploma from the Austrian Society for Acupuncture for complementary medical treatment approaches.
• Specialization: Since autumn 2023 in ongoing, specialized training as a pediatric and adolescent gynecologist.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Clinical Activity at Klinik Ottakring
As a specialist at the Department of Gynecology at Klinik Ottakring, I gained extensive experience in the entire surgical spectrum of gynecology, in specialized outpatient clinics, in the delivery room, and in prenatal sonography (detailed diagnostics during pregnancy).

Focus on Ultrasound Diagnostics
Through additional, in-depth training in the private practice sector for prenatal sonography, I have sound expertise in prenatal diagnostics. I hold the recognized certifications of the ÖGUM I (Austrian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine) and the FMF (The Fetal Medicine Foundation).

Consultation, Teaching, and Science

• Contraceptive Counseling: Active collaboration with the Austrian Society for Family Planning (ÖGF) at Klinik Ottakring, focusing on individual and scientifically based education on contraceptive methods.
• Academic Teaching: Sharing medical expertise as a lecturer and tutor at the Sigmund Freud Private University Vienna.
