Privacy Notice (according to GDPR)

The protection of your personal data is of utmost concern to us. Therefore we process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (GDPR, TKG 2003). This data protection information informs you about the most important aspects of data processing within the context of our website.

Contacting us

When you contact us either via the contact form on our website or through email, the data you provide will be stored on our servers for six months in order to deal with your inquiry and in the case of further questions. This data will not be passed on to someone else without your permission. If a medical treatment in our practice follows this inquiry, we are legally obligated to keep your data for a period of 10 years (Retention Obligation according to § 51 Abs. 3 Medical Law).

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are being stored on your device by your browser. They do not cause any harm.
We use cookies to create a more user-friendly site. Some cookies stay on your device until you erase them. They enable us to recognize your browser at your next visit to our website.
If you do not want this you can set up your browser in such a manner, that you will be informed about the placement of a cookie which enables you to allow this on a case by case basis.
Deactivating cookies can limit the functionality of our website.

Web analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. For this purpose cookies are being used that enable the analysis of this website’s usage by its visitors. The information created thereby is being transferred to Google’s servers and stored there.
You can avoid this by setting up your browser in such a way that no cookies are being stored.
Your IP address is registered but will be pseudonymized immediately. That way only a very coarse localization is possible.
The relationship to Google Analytics is based on the EU-US Privacy Shield.
Data processing happens on the basis of the legal regulations of § 96 Abs 3 TKG as well as Art 6 Abs 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.
In terms of the GDPR (legitimate interest) our concern is the improvement of our offers and our website appearance. Because our user’s privacy is important to us user data will be pseudonymized and will be stored for a period of 26 months.

Newsletter

When you visit our practice you have the option to allow the use of your email address to receive our newsletter. We will ask for your email address and a written consent that you agree to receive the newsletter. To make the newsletter more personal we will collect and process voluntarily given details like first and last name.
We want to point out explicitly that by contacting us via the contact form on our website or by email you will NOT get subscribed to our newsletter!
We use MailChimp to send out our newsletter and to manage the data of our subscribers. Your data is being stored on MailChimp’s servers which is legally secured by the EU-US Privacy Shield.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. You will find a link to unsubscribe at the end of each newsletter. We will then delete all your data within the context of our newsletter distribution.

Your rights

As a matter of principal you have the rights of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transfer, revocation and objection. If you think that the processing of your data infringes upon data privacy laws or your claims regarding data privacy laws were breached in any way you can file a complaint with the regulating authority. In Austria this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
